What was the highlight of Sunny Day Jeju
Excellent - fun, relaxing and chilled - exactly what we wanted.
Location is great, easy to find and loads to do in the local area including things if the weather is bad. Lots of local places to eat and facilities to cook at home and local shops if self-catering is your preference. The owner was extremely welcoming and pleasant and given that they were not fully booked even gave us a free upgrade. If we travel to Jeju again we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!
Didn't have any grievances, but if we had I am sure that the owner would have done his best to resolve them.

What was the highlight of Sunny Day Jeju
Very Good
The location was good for the places we intended to visit. We had already stayed in the Jungmun resort area during a previous trip and wanted a more local experience in the Seogwipo area this time. We had a spacious one-bedroom on the ground floor so it was easy to bring our small wheeled luggage up the slight hill. There was nice fresh air if you leave the sliding door in the living area open in the late afternoon-early evening and want to use the clothes rack to dry washed clothing. Note: I had to ask for the clothes rack since it wasn't in our unit. No washing machine...we did Korean-style clothes washing in the shower!
Although the facilities were pretty clean, the furnishings are rather dated and worn. The chairs could definitely use more padding and reupholstering for comfort as well as improved aesthetics. The bed was comfortable but the comforter was too small for even two Asian people, 5'2" 107 lb. female and 5'6" 150 lb. male. Maybe it's because at home we each have an extra long twin Tempurpedic bed and our own comforter. But I think taller/larger people would find the bedding rather small for sharing. The shower had nice hot water but the water splashes and runs outside the shower space wetting the floor...needed to use two towels to mop it up.

What was the highlight of Sunny Day Jeju
Something about this place makes it a good place to relax and also the location is convenient
One day after our arrival we got upgraded to a room upstairs with a great view and a bathtub. The location was nearby Olle trail and there was also a bus stop right under the location. Jungmun is nearby. There was also a convenience store just 2 mins walk where we would always get our morning coffee. The place is clean and host was very friendly and helpful- thank you!
There could be a small table and chairs on the balcony. Sometimes there was a weird smell (i think related to heating system) and every now and then the tourist motorboats were making noise. In the near neighbourhood it was difficult to find vegetarian food (but that is more linked to the Jeju specialties being raw fish and black pork)
